Own the Sex and the City Wedding Dress
Did you see the stunning Vivienne Westwood creation that Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) wore in the Sex and the City movie?

The “Carrie” dress features silhouettes with exaggerated darts, a slim-fitting waist and pointy, sculptural details. The top is based on a corset made of a gold backed ivory silk satin duchess. The underskirt is made of ivory silk faille.
If you loved it and coveted it, you’re in luck! Vivienne Westwood has committed to making approximately 30 custom versions of the dress. So, for the bargain price of $15,000 you can own this piece of fashion history (well, a replica of a piece of movie fashion, anyway). And, unlike Carrie, you can actually walk down the aisle in it.
The dress is only going to be available at 10 stores in the world. Hayden Olivia in Charlotte, NC will be one of three salons in the United States that carries it.
A cropped version of this dress sold out in less than a day on Net-A-Porter earlier this week.

With the “Lily” wedding gown (shown above), which only cost $9,875 (what a deal!), and the actual full-length version of the dress for sale, there will be plenty of Carrie-wannabes walking down aisles this summer.
What do you think? Would you shell out $15,000 for the chance to wear the “Carrie” dress on your wedding day?
