This wedding dress that Princess Grace wore is just breath taking and classic. Anyone know of any designer who has tried to recreate it? LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing
I’m sorry, but Princess Diana’s dress has to be one of the ugliest wedding dresses I have ever seen! I don’t know why people still talk about it like it was something amazing. She looks like she’s literally drowning in fabric!
@ allie, hahhahahha! I totally agree with you, BUT every time I say that so someone they look at me like I am crazy! Glad I am not alone.
I am really disapointed, that you do not attempt to research more thoroughly. Everybody knows that Crownprincess Mary and Crownprins Frederik got married in 2004!
Our apologies. We corrected it.
i totally agree…princess Diana’s dress is hideous. i love Princess Marie Chantal of Greece’s dress…i love the lace.
With the notable exception of Princess Diana’s dress (it really was awful), these are all lovely! Princess Mary of Denmark in particular, looks gorgeous.
Princess Mary of Denmark was fashion forward and is my pick. Didn’t care for Diana’s gown. I did love Princess Grace of Monaco, and Prinicess
Mary of Denmark.
Cate Middleton’s gown was very nice, a little old fashioned for me, but well made overall. I wish she had left the sleeve plain organza with a wide trim of lace at the wrist of something like that. Just too much lace.
I’m sorry that you thought Kates had to much lace ,,,I thought it was absolutely beautiful,,,it befitted a princess .it reminded me of Grace Kelly and her wedding dress.
I`m sorry but ho disappointed was I when Kate stepped out with a POSY . The veil was too 1940`s and flat. It hid the back design of her dress.
I liked the pleated train. Kate was nowhere near the class of Princess Mary who looked so extremely stunning both in herself and her beautuful PLEATED gown. hmmm, Mary was THE best of the two.
Kate seemed to be trying for a “home town” wedding look as in her hairstyle in a grand church. I think more effort could have been made -just copy Mary. I think some of Mary`s dress styles seem to be rubbing off onto Kate`s advisers in other dresses also. Mary has the “look” and class.
I love William but after waiting all week to see the bride -what a let-down. Perhaps the photos in mags. will show me the close details more of the dress` back.
Princess Grace’s dress was by FAR the most beautiful of all Royal Wedding dresses…the lace was so old & antique you can’t even get it anymore..it was Rose Point Brussels Lace from the late 1800′s..today it is called Princess Lace & looks quite similar but can be hard to find. This dress cost a small fortune when it was made in ’56…it would be priceless today. She was the epitome of class & elegance..then and now!
I love the ornate lace on Marie Chantal’s dress & headpiece..very royal & elegant.
Only think I like about diana was the long train & her bouquet..otherwise it was TOO much but, again, this was the early 80′s! lol
I was dissapointed not to see princess Margaret dress on here it was stunning
wow… princess Diana’s dress was too ughh !! i know that shes a princess but i just dont like the dress she chose…
now to think of it… she had to look R O Y A L so i guess that changes everything <3
[...] was once considered gauche became a bridal trend when the world saw Kate Middleton’s maid of honor, her sister Phillipa “Pippa” Middleton, and her “bridesmaids” in white [...]
I absolutely love this dress. It’s so simple. So classic. It’s timeless. You could replicate this dress in 20 years from now, and it will still be beautiful.
Princess Diana’s dress is ugly too much fabric. One of my favorites is Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s dress. She looks very elegant.
I love Crown Princess Mary,, she’s one of my favorite royalties beside the Countess of Wessex <333.. I liked Martha's crown ..
I have a question: I heard that the parents of Princess Maxima where absent during the wedding, then who delivered her to Prince Willem-Alexander?
