Katy Perry’s Wedding Dress
Katy Perry recently made headlines for wearing a too-revealing “wedding dress,” but it wasn’t for her wedding, it was for Sesame Street.
If rumors are to be believed, Katy Perry’s actual wedding day is imminent. Perry celebrated her Cirque du Soleil-themed bachelorette party in Vegas recently and fiancé Russell Brand had his “stag do” in London last weekend. So what will she really wear for her upcoming wedding to Brand? Only her stylist knows, but until then…
Let’s play my favorite game: celebrity stylist for a day. If I were to pick Katy Perry’s wedding dress, she’d wear one of the following two designs:
On the left is a 50s-inspired bridal gown by Justin Alexander, which would appeal to Perry’s vintage-loving style. On the right is a more modern wedding dress by Lazaro. Its practically sheer top and figure-hugging silhouette would also suit Perry’s style.
So, which way will she go? Vintage or modern? We’ll have to wait and see. But either way, I foresee a birdcage veil.
Katy Perry seems like the type of person to be a little bit more traditional, conservative in real life as opposed to her pop star persona. My bet is that she’s going to wear a traditional strapless cupcake dress. Although I think you’re right about the birdcage veil; I can see it too!
