Wow, I thought I was an extemre planner, but your future SIL has me beat!! LOL Well, I think she will definitely benefit from one of those wedding-planning guides, the kind that have calendars and notes sections as well as little ideas and spaces to make lists. You can find really nice ones at Barnes and Noble for like $15. They are usually very pretty as well, so they make nice keepsakes for people who like to keep stuff like that as momentos. Also, I think you should get some sort of quirky novelty pen to go with it, something that says Bride-to-Be or something on it. That can be her official pen for writing down all the stuff in her planner. Also, I have seen funny little Wedding Survival Kits, complete with Advil, Alka-Seltzer, a mini sewing kit for emergencies, etc. Usually that's something you give them a day or two before the actual wedding, but it would be cute for the planning stages as well. One more idea- the Emily Post Wedding Etiquette Guide- I love that book so much!!! I first read it when I got engaged back in January, and I learned SO much!!! Most people don't know all the little wedding etiquette rules until they get engaged themselves, and it is a very handy resource to make sure you're doing everything right, etiquette-wise. It's in its fifth edition now, and is definitely a worthwhile bridal gift.
