A balloon wedding dress? What else?
Have you ever heard of a balloon wedding dress? Well, it’s time for you to discover Thelma Levett latest art project. She has been working with balloons for years, but today, she decided to design a balloon wedding dress for her soon to be married daughter.
According to the Dailymail, the dress is a replica of Kate Middleton’s dress, but the artist told HuffPost Weird News that if the inspiration came from the royal wedding dress, she had no intention of making a copy since “that wouldn’t translate to balloons”.
Built with this more than unexpected materiel, the dress is made out of more than 5 000 balloons. It might seem like a dangerous think to walk around with a gown that might pop at any time. But her daughter says that it is quite comfortable. She gets all the support she needs thanks to the bodice of the dress which has been so patiently made by entwining hundreds of balloons. But how many brides would be willing to take that risk?
The brides can surprise us with dresses made out of materiel we would have never thought of… Remember the toilet paper wedding gowns ?
Some brides even decide to put technology to use. With a LED wedding dress, you’ll be sure that your guests know where to find you at any time.
