How different are you daring to be with your wedding dress?

Being a bride gives you that one day to look any way you want. Lavish, extravagant, extremely beautiful—you name it, you can be it. Why? Because YOU are the bride.

I’m so excited to be one myself, especially after seeing a lot of these Bridal Market wedding dresses coming out next year. My mind is blown by some of the possibilities out there. Some dresses are even grander than I could have imagined.

Take this beautiful dress by Rivini. If I wasn’t afraid of the pink looking too weird with my red hair, I’d wear this in a heartbeat. Sure, it’s pink and usually wedding dresses aren’t even close to pink, but how cool is this? Not only does it have a great silhouette, texture and a little bit of sparkle, but NO ONE would expect me to walk down the aisle in a pink dress. I can hear the gasps now. Talk about wow factor.

This Badgley Mischka dress is also unique with its gold accents scattered about like the bride just ran into a herd of flower girls (and I mean that in the best possible way). I actually really like this different look. It’s flowy, yet modern. Slightly girly but very glamorous. I’d love to see a bride rock this down the aisle.

Yumi Katsura surprised me with this great black and white wedding dress. Who knew black and white could be so bridal? I would totally wear this dress. It’s traditional silhouette and sweetheart neckline is freshened up with the black and white floral. It’s the perfect cut for my body type. I’m still a little torn about the idea of wearing black down the aisle for my wedding since I’m a huge fan of the pure symbol of white. While I’d be willing to wear an off-white color or something a little different, I don’t know if I’d be able to wear black since it’s the opposite to the symbol of purity.  Still, it’s a very pretty dressed. I’d totally wear it to another formal occasion.

Now if you want to be a superstar for your wedding day, Simone Carvalli’s collection may just be for you. The bottom of this dress just screams “WOW!” Now, my booty doesn’t need extra fabric, but something about this dress pulled me to it. It’s just so different, it’s great. I never really fancied myself a superstar, per say. As you’ve probably gathered from my posts, I’m lean toward more of a girly, romantic flair. Still, this dress impresses me greatly. I’m sure there’s a sassy enough bride out there to strut down the aisle like a model on a runway in this.

What do you think? Are there any grand brides out there daring enough to be different?
