Newest Installment of “Say Yes to the Dress” Devoted to Bridesmaids

New York’s most well-known bridal boutique, Kleinfeld, is premiering a new installment of their popular “Say Yes to the Dress” reality show. “Say Yes to the Dress – Bridesmaids” will have all the dresses, tears and tantrums the original is known for, but will focus on the difficulty of finding a dress that pleases the entire bridal party. The show also features a new crop of patient consultants to help the bridal parties find that dress of their dreams.

“Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids” premieres Friday, July 8 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Don’t Think You’ll Wear Your Bridesmaid Dress Again? Trade It In!

It’s a well-known understanding that most bridesmaids will never wear their bridesmaid dress again, no matter how stylish the dress is. Thankfully, Dessy Group launched a new site to help bridesmaids put some use into their old bridesmaid dresses.

NewlyMaid is a new service that lets bridesmaids exchange their old dresses in exchange for a new “any occasion” little black dress. All you have to do is request a pre-paid return mailer from their website, send your used bridesmaid dress and, once the dress is inspected to make sure it meets NewlyMaid’s criteria (no pulls, tears or stains), you’ll be able to shop for your new “any occasion” dress at discounted prices that are 30-50% off the full retail price. NewlyMaid accepts used bridesmaid dresses from any designer or brand.

The used dresses are either donated to charities or recycled, making this service perfect for those who are environmentally conscious and want to reduce their carbon footprint.

Eco-Friendly Wedding Dresses

Environmentally conscious brides will be happy to hear that wedding dress designer Terra Amore has released an eco-friendly wedding line. The dresses are made from recycled lace, unbleached and un-dyed hemp silks, and 3% of the profits are donated to Trees for the Future. Prices range from $1,000 to $2,000. Fashion Spotlight: Pippa’s Temperley London Dress

Although the recent royal wedding had everyone talking about Kate Middleton and Prince William, there was one person who had a surprisingly lasting impression on everyone: Kate’s sister, Pippa.
