This is a similar dress from an earlier Badgley Mischka collection.
Former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler wore a gorgeous
Badgley Mischka gown when she got married to Kyle Jacobs on New Year’s Day. Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said in a statement that they were thrilled to design the country star’s wedding dress. The classic ballgown dress they designed, which included a tulle ballgown skirt that could be removed to reveal a mini dress beneath, was “perfect for her amazing figure.”
“I really didn’t ask for anything at all,” Kellie told People. “They just took such great care of me and did it all. I just stood there and instantly fell in love with it.”

Wedding dress designer Amsale is planning to star in a new reality TV show, according to CNN. Designer and founder Amsale Aberra said she initially opposed the idea of starring in a reality TV show but later changed her mind.
“Many reality shows are about drama, about conflicts, and I wasn’t interested in that,” she told CNN. “But the concept is a pursuit to perfection. And it fits my principle, it fits the philosophy.”
The show, which will record the everyday hustle and bustle at her Madison Avenue boutique, will premiere in April.

We’re loving these new wedding dresses from Augusta Jones. Her gorgeous dresses with modern structure and design are perfect for brides looking for a gown that’s elegant yet simple.
The Augusta Jones look is made possible by a staff of talented designers. Learn more about them below:
The Augusta Jones collection was launched in 1999 under the creative leadership of Charlotte Leung (left). She needed a line for her own shop to satisfy three basic requirements: beautiful styling, flexibility of the range to flatter a variety of shapes, and affordability. Her focus is to bring stylish, designer wedding gowns to modern brides.
June Leung (right), an award-winning designer, joined the Augusta Jones team after the launch of their initial collection in England. She brings her passion for art deco and period piece jewelery to the collection – very much in evidence by the extravagant detailing found in key pieces and the ever growing range of accessories.

We discovered Liz Fields this season and were very impressed by her affordable yet very stylish collection. Here is what she had to say about her favorite pieces.
It’s extremely difficult for me to choose my favorite styles from the Lo-Ve-La by Liz Fields bridal collection this season. I, obviously, love them all for different reasons! If I was forced to pick only one, it would probably be wedding dress style #9102. The silhouette of this gown is flattering on just about everybody, especially women with curves. As a taller woman with a larger bust and hip measurement, I would definitely choose this style…va-va-voom! However, from the moment the design popped into my head, I was completely in-love with wedding dress style #9104. The simplicity, elegance, and romanticism of this gown is just breath-taking! Whether you are getting married on a vineyard or in a grand ballroom, this bridal gown is the perfect choice!

From the Liz Fields Bridesmaids collection, I would have to choose bridesmaids dress style #364. Bridal parties often face the problem of choosing a silhouette that is flattering for 4+ different body types and this bridesmaids dress is incredible on everybody. I have yet to see somebody in this gown, whether size 4 or size 24, who doesn’t look like a million bucks. Don’t like the flower? Remove it and put your own detail on the waist…but the combination of the neckline, the perfect amount of shirring, the proportion of the waistband and the soft flowing skirt make this gown a winner. Plus-size or not, dress 365 will make you feel like pure luxury with its plunging v-neck and back, corset tie detail and slim skirt.

How do you manage to keep your prices reasonable and still offer original styles?
We really worked very hard to find unbelievable contractors with whom we work with constantly in improving our construction and finishing techniques so you can get the best possible quality gown for your money. Also, we have great fabric resources which allow us to provide you with dresses that look great, but also feel great! I love studying patterns, fabric manipulation techniques and vintage methods of detailing, so I think my strength as a Designer is in finding cheaper ways to create the same effects that you get on high-priced or couture gowns. One thing is for sure…you should not sacrificing quality for a lower price tag!
Which colors are going to be hot for bridesmaids next summer?
I’ve been seeing and hearing a ton about the orange and honeysuckle family of colors. We have just added Orange and Tangerine to our wide range of colors, including pink coral, coral, and peach which are perfect if you’re following trend. Also, we’ve been seeing a rise in requests for a dark gray colors so we have just added Charcoal to our color choices as well. We’re also still going to see a lot of brights for bridesmaids dresses, like our royal blues, amethyst purples, emerald greens, and red.
What would you recommend in the collection for a pregnant bridesmaids?
Bridesmaids style #300 has been extremely popular for pregnant bridesmaids. The style offers enough coverage and support while still being stylish and sexy. We offer maternity styling on many Liz Fields bridesmaids dresses, and this includes certain changes to increase the comfort and support of the gown such as raising and narrowing the waist band. A pregnant bridesmaids should definitely find an authorized Liz Fields retailer for more information and to be properly measured.
